Family Time
We like to specialize in family groups so that you can take those stingray memories away with you. A Gopro is available at no extra charge on our boat for you and your family to use. Once the videos and photos are uploaded we will send you a Dropbox link for you to share to the whole family.
Small Groups
On our boats we like everyone to have as much fun as possible, so even when you are sharing a boat with others it will be a max of 8 people. Stingray City is visited by 100's of people so we think why do you have to be crowded on the boat as well.
Stingray Kiss
The stingray kiss is one of the longest standing good luck kisses there is. So make sure when you're here that you get your Kiss from one of our Southern Stingrays and get those 7 years.
Beat the Crowds
One of the things that we try to ensure is that you experience Stingray City with as little boat traffic as possible. We have managed to get our times on par to allow us to enjoy the Sandbar with minimum crowds. Whether it be a morning trip or an Afternoon trip we always try and beat the Cruise ship crowds.
STINGRAY CITY SANDBAR
The ever famous Stingray City Sandbar of the Cayman Islands, this place is a one of the best things to do on the island. with over around 80+ Southern Stingrays in one area you will be in awe of the magic that happens at this place. The sandbar itself sits in the middle of the North sound of Cayman and is only reachable by boat or jet ski, some have tried by Kayak on flat days but this is not advisable, its sits in a body of 3ft of water and is protected by the barrier reef from waves which makes it a great place for the whole family.
Stingray City came about when local fishermen would go out during the day and catch for the day but when it came to cutting up the fish they didn't want to go back to land due to the high level of mosquitos. So they would come in through the North Sound cut and head to the sand bar just inside the barrier reef and cut and prep the fish on the sandbar. This in turn started to bring in the first Stingrays to the sandbar and after awhile they knew this was a easy place to get a free meal. After some time a gentlemen of Captain Marvin started to handle the Stingrays and hand feed them which lead to it being one of the must see tourist activity on island.
